Mahika? Musika is an upcoming 2D animated short film made by Illustration Entertainment Arts students from ArtCenter College of Design. Over the summer of 2025, along with Mika Russell, Ana Yi and Kat De Prima, I led a team of artists to bring a story I had to life.

As kids, my mother and her six siblings formed a traditional Filipino string instrument ensemble, called Rondalla. From there, I imagined a group of friends who loved music, but didn’t exactly get along with each other.
